There has been a massive response to try to meet at least some of the needs of those fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. People are doing this out of compassion for these refugees. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, showed compassion on the people he met day by day, and showed ultimate compassion by dying for us on the cross.
